2015 was weird, and that’s really the best word for it. I started my content in 2014, but things didn’t really pick up until 2015. I started writing for Gaming Rebellion, I upped the quality of my videos, I helped start a podcast, I wrote a book. I don’t think I’ve ever done that many personal and non paid creative things in an entire year on my own. Sure, I used to be pretty active in a band, but I had my bandmates pushing me along when I didn’t want to do anything. This was almost entirely done on my own motivation, with a little help from the admis at Gaming Rebellion and my fellow Retroholics. There were so many times where I just wanted to dump this all and quit, but I’d give it a day to think about, and then I’d come roaring back with new stuff to work on. I haven’t been so motivated since I was in the Army with leadership breathing down my neck. I guess I learned something in all those years in the military.
I don’t really want to go through and share all the highlights that happened this year. Most everything I worked on I thought was a highlight to me, just because I’m so proud of actually finishing things. Just take a look back through the feed of my website if you want to see the 2015 highlights. They’re all there.
Uhh. This was aimless and pointless. Happy 2016. This is the year I finally get rich and famous and become the President of the World.
